Hello and welcome to my page! Allow me to give a brief introduction so you can learn more about what content you can explore here. My name is Devanshi De, and one of my most pursued goals is to create a future where I can make a mark on the music industry by guiding a new generation with music, portraying the art and truths of life. My passion in the arts centers around my lifelong goal as a singer. Through the art of singing, I've harbored an ambition to make my passion my career and would love to share the process right here on Medlz!
As my ambition grew, I decided to widen my horizons and further explore opportunities that would help carve the path to attaining my goal. So, let me share some of my most cherished experiences as you familiarize yourself with them here. I've begun my singing journey through prior Indian classical Voice training. As I progressed, I've shifted through many teachers over time, gaining aspects from modern contemporary approaches to classical teachings from my beloved voice coaches, bringing intellect into my world with their experience in fields of opera, R&B, and various other genres.
Some of my milestones include choir performances, participation with my rock band; assembled thanks to my current music school, U.S. Music Lessons, whom I'd love to give a huge thank you for guiding me along the way:)
As one of my most recent visits, I'd been accepted into Belmont Summer Vocal Art Intensive (BSVAI) hosted in Nashville, Tenessee within the campus of the renowned Belmont University. It's been a true pleasure to have been accepted to participate in the 2025 BSAVI from July 22nd -28th, and I hope to audition in the future! Truly, one of the most captivating experiences that helped elevate my surroundings to many other talented vocalists, artists, as well as Belmont's wonderful faculty.
Through the week-long intensive, it had been eye-opening to learn many aspects of establishing oneself as an artist, in the industry, and as a more established performer and singer. And more so, my deepest gratitude to Belmont University and Professor James R. Wigginton, Dr. Mann, and Professor Rebekah Alexander: Faculty of the prestigious Belmont University for helping broaden my understanding of the music industry, and for inspiring me to open this page here on Medlz!
I've continued my passion, taking up time throughout to perform and participate in events hosted by @U.S.Music Lessons, and will be participating soon in the Moonlight Amphitheater in Vista for their Summer Program for Musical Theatre. On Medlz, I've participated in the SHINE singing competition, placing 3rd place for my entry covering Derniere Danse by INDILA, and would further be tuned to participate in future competitions hosted. Here on my page, I'll be posting music content for popular song covers, and soon for some original tracks. Some of my favourite artists are Arijit Singh, Faouzia, Adele, INDILA, and Kiran & Nivi. If you're a fan of ballads and hits by any of these singers, then I'm sure your interest may be met with some music I may feature here :)
