Artist accounts have all the features of fan accounts. Additionally, they are visible in the artist sections and search results, allowing users and fans to discover them and their talents. To be considered an artist on the platform, you must upload a profile picture, a banner, add your skills, and upload content in at least one art category.

There is no fee or subscription required to register an account with us! We want all our early users to enjoy the full experience of our platform without any cost. Consider it our way of saying, “Welcome aboard!”

As a visitor to our site, you can browse, search, and enjoy available content on the website without having to register; however, certain features require you to register and have an account on Medelz. By creating a Medelz account, you get access to additional features such as the ability to nominate artists and performances in competitions, follow artists, post comments, like content posted by artists, and more.

If you wish to establish your profile and upload your own content on our platform, you must register and have an account.

We verify email addresses and phone numbers of all users that register on our platform using two-factor authentication.

To register on Medelz, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Medelz website.
2. Click on the ‘Register’ link, found at the top right corner of the homepage.
3. Fill in the required information, such as your name, email address, and password. You will need to verify your email address and phone number.
4. Once registered, you’ll be redirected to complete your profile. This includes uploading a profile picture, a banner, adding your skills, etc.
5. Navigate to appropriate art categories, e.g., MyMusic, MyPhotography, MyArt, etc., where you can upload audio files in MP3 format, video files in MP4 format, and images in supported formats. Make sure to categorize your content appropriately.

By following these steps, you can register and showcase your work to a wide audience, including industry professionals, and take advantage of the networking and collaboration opportunities Medelz offers.

Artists may find opportunities to earn income through various means on the Medelz platform. They can potentially win prizes by participating in competitions if they win competitions, feature their content in our upcoming ‘Exclusive’ sections that fans will be able to subscribe to, and make their content available for sale. Additionally, artists may be booked for gigs and events if they offer services once the platform starting offering the booking feature. Medelz may reward users based on their overall contribution and engagement with the platform in terms of their fan following, likes, follows, awards, and overall contribution on the platform determined solely by the Medelz management.

To participate in a competition, you must be a registered artist on the platform. Registration is free. Once you have registered as an artist, you can explore listed competitions by navigating to the “Competitions” tab in the top navigation bar.

Participation rules, including eligibility, prizes, number of rounds, and other details, are established by the competition organizer and will vary for each competition. Please check the specific competition’s guidelines for comprehensive information.

After registering as an artist on our website, navigate to the competition you wish to participate in and click on the “Submit Your Entry” button. This allows you to choose content stored on your local computer or, if you have already uploaded it to the Medelz website in your content portfolio, you can select it from there.

Entries submitted to a competition are ranked based on judges’ scores and/or the number of virtual awards, called Medelz, that contestants receive during the competition. The scoring process may involve a combination of these elements. The weighting and use of these elements vary for each competition and specific details on the scoring and ranking process for each competition will be provided in the competition rules and guidelines.
