June 2020 This piece was finished during the first few months of quarantine, when things were especially uncertain. I wrote then, “right now, we are collectively between the worlds, held precariously in the middle of the tension that exists between them: Day and Night. Light and Shadow. Fire and Ice. Worlds' End. Worlds' Begin.
